Senior Director, Corporate Communications

Are you interested in leading corporate communications for a B Corp that is on a mission to improve the lives of billions of people?

As Senior Director of Corporate Communications, you will enable and amplify the voice of Singularity University. Working closely with the VP of Marketing and the management team, you will guide an ongoing conversation with multiple constituencies, both external and internal. You will drive the creation of campaigns to ensure that each group understands our mission and how our strategy, programs, and decisions serve that mission, as well as the overall impact that we are having in the world.

By tracking sentiment, you will lead company decisions to stay in front of managing company perception. We’re looking for an exceptional communicator and strategic thinker.

You will report to the VP Marketing and work closely with Singularity’s outside PR firm, leading PR strategy on a day-to-day basis. You will need to stay in the know on key initiatives and to provide insight on the need to communicate to different constituencies, ensuring that project plans and company timelines include strategic communications.


  • Develop a comprehensive and ongoing understanding of our mission, strategy, business models, and programs.
  • Collaborate with members of the management team to craft the company’s narratives on a range of issues that matter to SU constituencies, including impact, strategy, and products.
  • Catalyze a regular flow of communications, digital content, and events that reinforce key narratives to different stakeholders, including our global community.
  • Partner with SU leaders and their teams across the organization to shape the narrative both internally and externally.
  • Serve as a point person for guiding the organization through communication and public relations challenges.
  • Build the capacity for communication excellence within the organization.

Our Requirements (you must have):

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in corporate communications

The position’s primary work location will be at SU headquarters in Mountain View, CA.
