Application Analyst

The Position:

As the Application Analyst, you will be responsible for enhancing the productivity of Singularity’s employees by managing current IT application use and planning for future applications to support our business.

The role demands the ability to achieve as an individual contributor AND as a member of a committed, high performing team.

Some of the Position’s Responsibilities:

  • Be the expert on the applications we use.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s current applications and applications’ roadmaps.
  • Identify new needs, and spot opportunities to improve business performance through new applications.
  • Build and maintain positive, mutually beneficial relationships with SU’s business units.
  • Configure users, user groups, and permissions across appropriate applications.
  • Author summary documentation on standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Coordinate with vendor representatives to troubleshoot application problems or acquire more information on behalf of business units.
  • Create tools as appropriate (e.g. templates) to support business needs.
  • Provide a compelling and effective onboarding for new application users.

Our engineering team builds both the digital infrastructure supporting our existing programs along with digitally native products and services. Our Requirements (you must have):

  • At least two years professional experience in an application analyst or application support role.

About You (we’d like it if you…):

  • Have an understanding of enterprise applications such as Zendesk, inPartner, Tableau, Marketo, and Salesforce.
  • Have past experience in Cvent; this role will be responsible first for Cvent administration and then for other applications.
  • A history of success serving as a single point of contact while administering an application in a shared service.
  • Lots of curiosity about new skillsets and applications we might use.
  • Are biased toward action and are a great collaborator. You never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery.
  • You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away.
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
