Program Manager for Community Operations
Mountain View, CA
This role is a principal steward of SU’s Community data. The individual in this role supports
critical campaigns and programs support and engage the SU Community, ensures that
Community data is accurate, and that processes are streamlined and effective.
IMPACT & INFLUENCE:
The position reports to the Vice President, SU Ecosystem.
On a regular and ongoing basis, the individual in this position interacts with:
Director of Community Engagement, members of the Community Team, SU product managers
of various levels, SU Chapter leaders, and members of the SU Community.

The Major Responsibilities:
Contribute to a culture that values innovation and continuous improvement.
Participate in growing the SU brand and increasing the reputation of the Community Team through interactions with staff and members of the community. Positions the Community Team as a service organization.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within existing workflows and operating practices, primarily focusing on information collection, contact management, member contact, and external messaging.
Create process flow diagrams and suggest revisions to existing processes in an effort to act on identified process inefficiencies.
Attend community events and provide logistics and production support at Community-Team led events.
Closely monitor all inbound member contacts. Utilize information to identify trends and suggest design changes to CRM database, ticketing system, or outbound marketing.
Ensure that SU Community databases contain current information. Utilize out-bound and in-bound contacts as opportunities to confirm data freshness.
Maintain an ongoing awareness of other internal stakeholders with both sporadic and regular contact opportunities with members of the SU Community. Maintain an inventory of information needs for each stakeholder group.
Partner with internal stakeholders to develop communication templates (phone scripts, email templates, etc.). Focus efforts on observed contact trends.
In partnership with product owners, maintain a proactive awareness of customers nearing the conclusion of program activities. Provide timely contact with these individuals, welcoming each into the SU Community.
Coordinate administrative services for the Community Team, including expense reconciliation, shipping of materials, and travel coordination.
Our Requirements (you must have):
At least two years (2) of professional experience.
A minimum of one year (1) in a position requiring you to provide administrative or other support services to others.
A demonstrable ability to communicate, both speaking with individuals & groups, and in writing.
Provable past experience working independently on projects and assignments.
Provable past experience working successfully as a member of a team.
Demonstrable time management skills including the past experience addressing multiple high priority or clients.
Experience with social media, specifically Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Groups.
