The Corporate Controller is the analyzer, interpreter and disseminator of financial information to SU departments, product managers, and unit & company executives. The individual in this role works with and advises company leaders by providing the financial information needed to develop successful strategies, and communicates accounting and finance principals to non-accounting professionals. S/he plays a pivotal role in the overall success of the company by effectively managing all internally facing finance and accounting tasks.
The Controller is responsible for establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems; and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions. S/he oversees general accounting, accounts receivable, collections, inventory accounting, payroll, risk management and is directly responsible for managing & supporting the accounting team. The Corporate Controller is a Director level position.
